About Us
Wade Boyat - President
As the founder and original simulator engineer and designer, Wade brings over 40 years of fire industry experience. Wade served in the Air National Guard for over 20 years as the Chief of Fire Protection along with retiring as the Assistant Fire Chief for the State of Minnesota at the Duluth International Airport - 148th Air National Guard.
Experience
Wade has trained over 400 fire departments and conducted thousands of trainings to include firefighters nationally as well as globally. Wade has served as a state licensed collegiate instructor, been recognized with over a dozen state and national awards. Wade most recently received the MCOA Outstanding Service Award and the American Airport Association ARFF Achievement award.

At ARFF Design and Consulting our mission is to provide quality consulting and simulator manufacturing solutions designed to meet your specific department needs.
Our simulators allow individual, group, or regional emergency services to train at the highest level locally with their own people, equipment and tools.
